Alex Metcalfe performs Satie’s most important works, in character as the composer from the set of his Arceuil apartment. Sarah Miles’s script, edited from Satie’s own words, is narrated against the backdrop of Keith Lovegrove’s cinematic accompaniment.

The performance will be hosted in the private gardens of Finchcocks, framed by the west elevation of grade-1 listed manor house! A stage is being built in anticipation with on our much-loved Bosendorfer to be wheeled out to join guests on the lawn. The production will be narrated in French with English subtitles.
