World-class music livestreamed from Finchcocks
Finchcocks began livestreaming concerts during 2020’s first lockdown and we’re thrilled to say that they’ll be here to brighten 2021 as well! We’re delighted to be welcoming back concert pianist and well-loved Finchcocks tutor Warren Mailley-Smith for a set of 7 concerts exploring a fantastic new programme he’s devised especially for Finchcocks and his dedicated livestream supporters.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic caused the closure of venues across the United Kingdom in 2020, Warren has presented over 50 online concerts on various platforms in association with CityMusic Live, and has performed over 100 individual works for the piano from memory.
From February to July 2021, Warren will present concerts on different themes, the first, L’Amour, will be presented on Sunday, 7 February at 7pm GMT. Throughout the series, Warren will explore themes such as the hope of spring, British Romantic composers, Baroque works for the keyboard, and the music of Spain and Russia.
