We are delighted to announce our partnership with City Music Promotions and a Finchcocks concert series on the Strand!
This exceptional new series of piano recitals in the beautiful candlelit venue of St Mary le Strand offers a unique opportunity to hear performances by some of the UK’s leading pianists – and inspiring Finchcocks piano course tutors. The concerts will cover a wide range of repertoire from composers such such as Beethoven, Debussy, Liszt, Schumann, Chopin and more.
First up is the fantastically talented Florian Mitrea.

Jong-Gyung Park began her music studies in Korea and Japan. She continued her training at the New England Conservatory in Boston with Russel Sherman and Wha Kyung Byun. She has also studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich with Elisso Wirssaladze. In 1996, she won fourth prize in the Busoni Competition in Bolzano and third prizes at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in 1998 and the Sviatoslav Richter Competition in 2008. She has performed both in recital and with orchestra in the United States, Israel, Italy and Korea.
Closer to home she will be performing at this year’s Finchcocks Festival and is much-loved piano tutor to the Finchcocks family.
Rounding our mini series off with a carnival medley is the incomparable Daniel Grimwood.
